When the whole team had to work remotely, the project plans were constantly postponed. Kojima also expressed that he was sick in this process and thinks that everything would end.
Despite all the setbacks, Kojima said that he saw Death Stranding 2 as a “task” more than a job. He said that it is a great responsibility for him to bring together his teammates and to finish the project. He stressed that the difficulties made both him and his team more durable.
