The Scènes de ménages team is once again in mourning. Actor Yannik Mazzilli passed away following a long illness on the night of Monday to Tuesday.

Known in particular for having lent his features to Hervé, Emma’s brother in the television series Domestic scenesYannik Mazzilli died in hospital, alongside his wife Vanessa, on the night of Monday 29 to Tuesday 30 July 2024, his relatives revealed on social media. Information also confirmed by the actor’s agent toActu.fr. As suggested by the various publications of his close relations, the actor from Savoie died after a “long fight against the disease”. He leaves behind two children, Mila and Liam, aged 18 and 15 respectively.

Although little further information has been received regarding the exact nature of his illness, Yannik Mazzilli’s brother-in-law has launched an appeal for help and opened a solidarity kitty to help the actor’s wife, Vanessa, who had to close her “salon” to accompany Yannik Mazzilli until the end. “As a craftsman, she has no recourse: every day of closure is a financial abyss. Neither Urssaf nor the owner take her pain into account,” he explains.

Actor Philippe Lelièvre also paid tribute to him on Facebook. “I am devastated, sad and angry at this fucking injustice. I thought guys like you were immortal,” he said, before recalling: “You were so close to the character of Knut, this 1.95m elf full of humor, tenderness and naivety.” And Valérie Damidot paid tribute to her theater companion: “My first series pilot was with you, we laughed so much that we never left each other. My first play was also with you, we laughed like kids again. My first one-man show, you were also there.”
