The actor Carl Weathers is dead, reports several media, including People.
“Carl was an exceptional person who lived an extraordinary life. Through his contributions to film, television, art and sport, he has left an indelible mark and is recognized worldwide and across generations. He was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, partner and friend,” the family said in a statement.
He is known for Predators, Rocky and The Mandalorian, among others. He was also a former American football player and played eight games in the NFL.
Weathers lived to be 76 years old.
