The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) condemned, Thursday, February 27, 2025, France, for the gendarmerie operation which caused the death of the environmental activist Rémi Fraisse on the night of October 25 to 26, 2014, during clashes around the Sivens dam site, in the south of France. Reminder of this case which had raised the question of police violence and its judicial aspect.
