It was on Wednesday March 2, 2022 that the death of journalist Jean-Pierre Pernaut was announced. In the fall of 2021, he announced that he had lung cancer. This one being inoperable, he had to undergo radiotherapy to hope to be able to escape the disease. The journalist had passed the hand of the 1 p.m. newspaper of TF1 in 2020 and had been replaced by Marie-Sophie Lacarrau.
