Immense sadness. She will remain forever in our hearts,” he wrote on social media. The singer, very popular in the 1980s, would have died on March 16, in a Parisian hospital, adds the same source to AFP.
“She had been in fragile health for some time. She was a real artist, a wonderful girl. She was a singer and screenwriter for ‘Hélène et les Garçons’ in particular. We are very sad”, also explained the producer to the AFP, without giving more information on the circumstances of the death of Emmanuelle, at 59 years old.
What had become of the singer Emmanuelle?
A key figure in Club Dorothée, she was particularly popular in the 80s, thanks to several songs, such as First Kisses therefore, but also Just you to put me to sleep. After her success in Club Dorothée, Emmanuelle had become more discreet on the media scene, despite a few appearances and musical outings in the 90s. Finally, it was as a screenwriter for AB productions that she became famous , notably writing several episodes ofHelen and the boys or some holiday of love. Emmanuelle lived between Paris and Ibiza and has also tried her hand at photography in recent years.
As soon as the death of singer Emmanuelle was announced, tributes to the singer poured in on social networks. Among them, that of Dorothée, who writes on Facebook: “Very saddened by the departure of Emmanuelle”, in the caption of a photo of the missing artist.
