Jones worked with Harvey Schmidt in “The Fantasticks”. The two also collaborated in several other productions.
“The Fantasticks” is about a teenage love couple and has been an off-Broadway hit since its premiere in 1960. The musical has also been performed in Sweden, including at the Malmö Opera.
Tom Jones was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 1998.
