Death approval from the USA! Raised hand alone, vetoed aid bill

Death approval from the USA Raised hand alone vetoed aid

As the clashes between Israel and Hamas continue, the number of dead and injured in Gaza increases with each passing minute. In order to end the conflict in the region where the humanitarian crisis is taking place, Brazil submitted a draft resolution “Access of humanitarian aid to Gaza and protection of civilians” to the 15-member United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

The bill was approved by 12 member states, with the United Kingdom and Russia abstaining. The bill did not pass with the single negative vote of the United States, one of the five permanent members of the UNSC.

“BECAUSE HE NEVER MENTIONED ISRAEL’S RIGHT TO DEFEND ITSELF…”

Making a statement about the US veto decision, US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield said, “The US is disappointed that this bill makes no mention of Israel’s right to defend itself.”
