Today is the time when the year’s second competition in Melodifestivalen will be decided in Scandinavium in Gothenburg.
Six new artists are fighting for two final places and one of those hoping to get there is Sara Nutti, with the stage name Dear Sara.
Dear Sara starts at number three with her song “The Silence After You”.
– This song means a lot to me, it has a lot of power and I really love it and I hope that others will also like it, she tells SVT Sápmi before the competition.
“A lot of feelings”
SVT’s Melodifestival reporter Helin Pakdemir named the contribution to this week’s turkey on Friday. She compared with Melina Borglowe who with her ballad finished last in the first part of the competition last week.
But if you look at the betting companies’ odds, Sara Nutti is not so bad. According to the odds on Friday, she places herself in fourth place and goes to the final qualifier – what used to be called the second chance.
And even though it’s nervous, Sara Nutti has a good feeling about the evening.
– I have a good feeling now, if I can only train a little now, hopefully it will go well, she says.
Dear Sara meets, among others, Miss Snusk, Liaamo and Maria Sur in her competition.
