After a “final trailer” for Deadpool & Wolverine was released just a few days ago, we can now look forward to another little preview of the superhero spectacle of the year. A new video treats us to a reunion with a well-known Marvel villainswhom we last saw over 15 years ago in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

X-Men villain returns in Deadpool & Wolverine: Video shows Sabretooth
The video shows us the character Sabretooth, who made his Marvel debut in X-Men: The Movie. Played by Tyler Mane at the time, the villain appeared in the Marvel universe again in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, played by Liev Schreiber. In Deadpool & Wolverine Tyler Man returns in the well-known role back ‒ and takes on our two title heroes.
In the X-Men comics, Sabretooth is Wolverine’s arch-enemy. Like the mutant played by Hugh Jackman, he has the ability to heal himself and the claws that are iconic to the character. For a long time, fans believed that Sabretooth was Logan’s father. While co-creator Chris Clermont actually initially planned this path for the character, the idea never officially made it into the comics.
When will Deadpool & Wolverine be in theaters?
Marvel fans don’t even have to wait a month until they can see Deadpool & Wolverine on the big screen. In Germany, the superhero spectacle will be shown on July 24, 2024 into the cinemas.
