How many end credits scenes does Deadpool & Wolverine have?
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe already know the game. At the end of most films there are usually two bonus scenes: a mid-credit scene after the first part of the credits and a post-credit scene at the very end. In the case of Deadpool & Wolverine there is only one extra scene after the credits.
Is the Deadpool & Wolverine post-credit scene important?
The short answer: No. At the end of the credits, you will not see a classic Marvel post-credit scene that serves as a teaser for upcoming MCU projects. No Nick Fury trying to put together a team of heroes or a new superhero with a star-studded cast that could become important in the distant future. The scene is also not crucial for understanding the film.

The end credits scene of Deadpool & Wolverine: A Marvel hero delivers a fiery hate speech
Instead of a new surprising cameo or a preparation for the possible future of Deadpool and Wolverine, the Marvel spectacle ends with a scene that revisits a previous joke from the film. This is especially worthwhile for all Marvel fans who want to see more of Chris Evans as Johnny Storm want to see.

Chris Evans as Johnny Storm in Fantastic Four
In the end credits scene, we are once again in the Time Variance Authority (TVA) premises. Deadpool addresses the audience to demand clarification. In an earlier scene, he revealed to the villain Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin) that Johnny Storm made extremely derogatory comments about her The Fantastic Four member denied the accusation, but was brutally flayed anyway.
Did Deadpool lie and blame Johnny “Flame on” Storm’s death? Now we get the answer: Johnny did indeed say all the obscene and offensive things about Cassandra Nova. What follows is a 45-second rantin which Chris Evans shamelessly mocks the villain.
Whether this scene actually happened or whether Deadpool perhaps changed reality to his advantage is a matter of interpretation. But one thing is certain: we would never have heard these words from Captain America’s mouth.
Deadpool & Wolverine has been in German cinemas since July 24, 2024. It is the only film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to hit the big screen this year.
