A stalemate prevails at the US-Mexico border. Thousands of migrants are waiting on the Mexican side for the old covid rules to be scrapped. Rules that don’t even allow migrants to seek asylum in the US. On Wednesday, it was supposed that the border would be reopened, but the Supreme Court imposed a new, temporary stop on Monday.
Joe Biden went to the polls on reopening the border, but has delayed the decision for a long time. In the past few days, the National Guard has come to the border to take care of all the thousands of migrants who planned to pass into the United States on Wednesday.
