The exhibition consists of six signs and is called “The history of Swedish Russophobia in brief”.
The content of the signs consists of propaganda about Sweden’s military support for Ukraine. According to SVT, parallels are drawn, among other things, with the concessions Sweden made to Nazi Germany during the Second World War.
The two Swedish men appear on the posters with their names and pictures.
Behind the propaganda campaign, which was spread by the state-controlled Russian news agency Ria, is the Putin-linked organization Russian Military Historical Society, reports SVT.
It is not the first time that the Russian propaganda machine has exhibited in front of the Swedish embassy. Last May, several posters appeared where famous Swedes such as Astrid Lindgren, Ingvar Kamprad and Ingmar Bergman were singled out as Nazi sympathizers.
