Three dead mice were found taped to the apartment door at the home of an Allsvenskan soccer player after a match earlier this spring, Dagens Nyheter reports.
It was, according to the newspaper, a teammate of the player who found the dead mice and alerted the police, after first contacting the manager of the club.
A preliminary investigation into molestation was launched, and the police also filed a report of animal cruelty.
The police write in the report that the act “was intended to violate the plaintiff’s peace in a noticeable way”.
The preliminary investigation into molestation was dropped after two weeks.
