In Call of Duty: Warzone 2 you have to find dead mailboxes in some orders and deposit items in them. We will therefore show you all the important information about the dead mailboxes and where they are found.
What are dead mailboxes? In Warzone 2 you will encounter tasks related to the dead mailboxes during your DMZ journey. These mailboxes aren’t mailboxes, but rather large dumpsters scattered wildly across the map.
You either need these garbage containers for your quests, in which you have to deposit items in them, or if you are trying to reduce your cooldown for your insured slots in your equipment.
Since these containers are often difficult to find, we show you all 6 locations on the map with precise directions.

1 & 2. – Alley Hotel Sawana and gas station Mawizeh swamp
Where is the mailbox? In the second sector of Al Mazrah are two dead mailboxes. The first has its position behind the Hotel Sawana in an alley. To do this, go across the winding bridge in Al Mazrah City and look for a narrow alley with garbage cans.
The second mailbox can be found near Mawizeh Swamp. On the map you can see three bridges that lead across the swamp. Take the first left and go to the gas station. The container is near a wall. If you see a huge power pole near you, you are correct.
3. Al Sharim Junkyard
Where is the mailbox? The third dead mailbox is in the fourth sector of the map near Ahkdar Village. This is located on a yellow wall near a house west of the sector.
4. Al Samman Cemetery
Where is the mailbox? The fourth dead mailbox can be found in the fifth sector of Al Mazrah near Al Samman Cemetery. Follow the adjacent road until you see a small cluster of buildings northwest of the graveyard. The container is on the wall of a small white building.
5. Said City Shopping Mall
Where is the mailbox? The fifth dead mailbox is at the back of the mall near the lake. The wall stretches for several meters and is open to the public, so you won’t miss the container.
6. Quarry Train Depot – Rohan Oil
Where is the mailbox? The last dead mailbox can be found in the first sector of Al Mazrah between the Al-Safwa Quarry area and Rohan Oil. Locate the adjacent tracks and follow them to a train depot. The Dumpster is on a small building with a metal facade.
