– We are investigating a death with unclear circumstances that happened in central Växjö during the night of Tuesday. The prosecutor has arrested one person, says Robert Loeffel at the police in Region Syd to the newspaper.
The person, who is currently suspected of negligently having caused the death, is a relative of the child.
The police are very secretive about the incident and do not want to comment on the age or gender of those involved.
The police’s forensic technician has been on site and carried out a crime scene investigation.
