Dead by Daylight Behavior Interactive and Supermassive Games, which are working on a brand new single player game set in the universe, are preparing to introduce these projects at The Game Awards.
The Big Surprise Expected at The Game Awards: New Game from the Dead by Daylight Universe
With a post on the X platform (formerly Twitter) for the project announced earlier this year, Behavior Interactive and Supermassive Games stated that they were preparing for The Game Awards for their big announcement.
This project is described as an intensely interactive single-player game set in the Dead by Daylight universe and filled with powerful life-or-death choices. Supermassive will inherit the mythology established in Behavior Interactive’s survival-themed multiplayer games like Dead by Daylight, but this new game will come with an original story, making it a perfect way to get into the series for new players curious about the universe.
Known for its interactive stories, Supermassive Games has worked on acclaimed horror-themed games such as Until Dawn and Dark Pictures Anthology. Whatever this new game is, it is expected to be similar to the products the studio has already created, and since Behavior Interactive is also involved in this project, it is possible that there will be many stories and legends to be told in the Dead by Daylight universe.
