Dead babies found in glass bottles in Hong Kong

The tenants, a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, had just moved out of the apartment in the Tuen Mun district.

Behind them they left two dead boys, pressed into 30 centimeter high glass bottles filled with an unknown liquid – in the middle of the living room.

It is reported by several media, including Washington Post.

May have been stillborn

It was a cleaner who found the babies on Friday morning. Judging by their size, they may have been stillborn, but that has yet to be determined.

The bodies also showed no obvious signs of external injuries, said local police chief inspector Au Yeung Tak.

The young couple, believed to be the parents of the dead boys, have been arrested. They are currently suspected of the corresponding crime against criminal justice, but the criminal classification may change depending on what the forensic investigation shows.
