DC wants to beat Marvel with 10 year plan

DC fans are still stunned after producer Warner recently locked the superhero hit Batgirl in the poison closet. There is no trace of remorse at the studio. Instead, boss David Zaslav has now presented a 10-year plan to tackle Marvel.

This is according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter. There Zaslav explains:

Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman. These brands are world famous. We dared to restart. It will a team with a 10-year plan give that focuses only on DC. It becomes the concepts [der Chef-Riege um Marvel-Produzent] be very similar to Kevin Feige. We won’t release any film until it’s really finished.

Warner obviously wants an overarching one Release concept modeled on the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) create. The idea is not new. Films like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice or Justice League should also create a closely connected universe out of the ground with the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Most recently, with films like Joker or The Batman, the tenor was more on the individual vision of individual directors.
