DAZN, the streaming platform which won the rights to Ligue 1 this season, still offers a reduced offer to be able to follow the championship.
After criticism of the prices charged by the platform to benefit from Ligue 1 football, for which it obtained the rights at the last minute this summer, it decided to make a commercial gesture. For several months now, the full subscription to Ligue 1 has gone from 39.99 euros to 19.99 euros per month. For Black Friday it even went up to 14.99. Enough to benefit new subscribers from a saving of 120 euros over the year. But now, DAZN is offering a brand new offer for the start of the year with the establishment of a “mid-season pass” at 69 euros in total to subscribe until July 31, or less than 10 euros per month (9.85 euros per month precisely).

The offer is valid until February 3. This subscription includes Ligue 1 (8 out of 9 matches live each day) as well as Betclic Elite, the PFL, the Women’s Football Champions League and even boxing fights.
The LFP was waiting for the billion, Ligue 1 finally got away with 500 million euros with the DAZN / beIN Sports duo for the TV rights to Ligue 1. A proposal of 100 million euros in total for a match and for sponsorship rights for beIN Sports “reassured” the presidents of the clubs who accepted the proposal at the last minute this summer. A snub all the same for Ligue 1 and a dead loss for many clubs in our French championship.
What price for the subscription?
At the time of launch, DAZN offered a subscription of 39.99 euros per month for the “Unlimited Pack”, without commitment. A price which could be reduced to around thirty euros in the event of a 12-month commitment. You must also add the subscription of 15 euros to follow the Ligue 1 poster on BeIn Sports….
How to subscribe?
Subscription is directly available on the DAZN website. DAZN is also included at no additional cost within the bouquets Canal+ Sport and Canal+ Friends & Family. In detail this includes CANAL+ SPORT, which costs 25.99 euros per month for the first year, then 39.99 euros per month thereafter, and CANAL+ FRIENDS AND FAMILY, at 49.99 euros per month for 12 months, then 79.99 euros afterwards.
What is DAZN?
Like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, DAZN is a subscription streaming platform. Unlike the other services mentioned, it specializes in broadcasting live sports, while integrating a range of sports documentaries. The arrival in France dates from December 2020, but the platform remained discreet until August 2023, when DAZN announced a distribution partnership with Canal for Ligue 1.
The streaming platform broadcast the two Ligue 1 posters for which Canal had the rights each day. It provides access to a wide range of live and on-demand sports. It has rights in football, boxing, MMA and even American football. Since the start of the 2024-2025 season, it has had the rights to Ligue 1 and broadcasts 8 of the 9 championship posters.
