Dawn robbery in Kungälv – man beaten

It was at 09:13 on Sunday that the police in Kungälv received an alert about a robbery in progress.
Two men in their 30s rang the bell and when the door was opened, they forced their way into the apartment, assaulted a man in their 50s and stole, among other things, electronics.

It was in the morning that two men forced their way into an apartment in Fontin, Kungälv.

– The partner has opened the door and they force their way into the apartment and abuse the man, who is in his 50s. They bring some things with them, including electronics, says Carolina Karlsson, press spokesperson at the police.

The police were on the scene within ten minutes of the alarm.

– It’s really a bit unusual that it happens in daylight. The patrol is there very quickly and can catch them already in the stairwell with the stolen goods on them, says Carolina Karlsson.

In addition to the stolen goods, the police found narcotics on one man.

The 50-year-old man who was assaulted suffered minor injuries and did not need to be taken to hospital.
