In August last year, David Lindgren was forced to leave the role of program manager in Let´s Dance after two seasons with Petra Mede in 2021 and 2022.
But almost half a year after the message, he is now making a comeback – as one of the participants.
– The last time I stood there in Greenroom I felt I was eager to test, so I was very happy when they asked if I wanted to join, says David Lindgren to Aftonbladet.
Last participant in qualifying group 2
The program also makes a comeback after a year’s break and now with a whole new arrangement.
The season starts with three qualifying programs where five participant pairs meet in each program – three couples go on and two go out. Then all the dance pairs who have moved on will meet and the arrangement will then be as the viewers are used to the final.
David is the fifth and last participant in qualifying group 2, which also contains star chef Tommy Myllymäki, the program leaders Arantxa Alvarez and Rickard Olsson together with Cecilia Frode.
Eric Saade: “Worst I’ve done”
In qualifying group 1 we see Manoel “Junior” Marques Lerin, married to artist Lars Lerin, artist Theodor “Theoz” Haraldsson, supermodel Mini Andén and Tiktok star Isa Östling.
– It’s my New Year’s promise. I’m not going to say no to anything, but I regretted it immediately, Isa Östling said when she visited News Morning.
The premiere section will be broadcast on March 15 on TV4 and is led by the brand new program manager duo consisting of Pär Lernström and Johanna Nordström.
Also In the jury we see a new setwhere Tony Irving is joined by Taya Shawki – who danced behind both Beyoncé and Zara Larsson – and former winner Eric Saade.
– It’s the absolute worst I’ve done, says Eric Saade in News Morning About their own participation.
