SD member of parliament David Lång sang “ausländer raus” during the party’s vigil – now he will meet group leader Linda Lindberg.

Here are the SD politician’s first words after the incident.

– We haven’t met yet so I don’t know what she says, says Lång to Aftonbladet’s reporter Joachim Kerpner.

When the Sweden Democrats danced to Gigi D’Agostino’s techno hit from 1999 at the night’s vigil, SD Member of Parliament David Lång sang the slogan “Ausländer raus”.

David Lång has not spoken out after the incident – until now.

Why did you say that? asks Aftonbladet’s reporter Joachim Kerpner when he meets the SD politician on a train.

– I’m going to meet the group leader Linda Lindberg later this afternoon, answers Lång.

Will talk to the group leader

Linda Lindberg has previously confirmed to Aftonbladet in a text message that she will have a meeting with Lång:

“I will have a conversation with him and get back to you after that,” writes Lindberg.

She continues:

“My interpretation is that there was no ulterior motive to David’s actions, but that it is quite obvious that he was greatly over-refreshed tonight and behaved generally buffoonish”.

– We haven’t met yet so I don’t know what she says, says David Lång when Aftonbladet meets him.

– I will talk to the group leader. I have nothing to say before then, he continues.
