Another game that took advantage of the THQ Nordic Showcase 2023 to return to the front of the stage: a certain Alone in the Dark, which recently hired the services of two renowned actors from Hollywood, namely David Harbor (Stranger Things , Black Widow, Hellboy) and Jodie Comer (The Last Duel of Ridley Scott and Free Guy alongside Ryan Reynolds). Instead of a new trailer, the developers of Pieces Interactive preferred to highlight their modeling work carried out on the two actors. It is indeed their facial expressions that are thus presented, allowing to see emotions of doubt, sadness and even anger. We do not know if this will sell more games or create a desire to pre-order the title, but at least we know that the rendering of the actors is rather quality. THQ Nordic took the opportunity to unveil the contents of the collector’s edition, including two figurines, a steelbook, stickers and other goodies, all wrapped in a nice packaging. The price was not communicated however.
The release of Alone in the Dark is set for October 25 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
