– I actually found, deep in the props storage, Arne Weise’s old Christmas tree balls, so now they are hanging on the tree. It may not be so easy to see, but I have also found his old armchair, he says.
Batra aims to strike the perfect balance between humor and tradition to give viewers a memorable Christmas Eve.
– It would be against expectations if it is no fun at all. And at the same time, you can’t joke around all Christmas Eve, so it’s good to find that balance, he says.
