Datrix obtains EU funding for the CONcISE biomedical project

(Finance) – 3rdPlace, the Group’s tech company Datrix, focused on building Artificial Intelligence models, has obtained the EU funding for the Horizon Europe project called CONcISE which aims to develop low-cost, non-invasive pre-screening solutions with high reliability and precision, to be used for the diagnosis of breast, thyroid and ischemic cancers.

3rdPlace was awarded the project together with an international consortium, which also includes the Politecnico di Milano and the National Research Council for Italy.

The value of the loan is 260,000 euros spread over 3 and a half years, a period in which 3rdPlace has the task of developing innovative deep-learning algorithms for the analysis of medical images.

Since the beginning of 2022, the Group has already been awarded four research and development projects for a total value of over 1.1 million euros in different application areas: from biomedical (CONcISE), to IT security (CS-AWARE-NEXT, 424,500 Euros in three years), to artificial intelligence attacks (CybersecH, 98,130 Euros in 1 year), up to the development of a platform that allows people with visual impairments to listen to content written on paper through Amazon Echo and Google Home (OpenEYE, 350,896 Euros in 1
year and a half).
