After its closed beta, Diablo 4 opens its doors this weekend for an open beta to all players. We take stock of this free trial period.

Diablo 4 is finally available in open beta this weekend, after a closed beta which has met with great success, despite some technical problems. For now, we can say that this new release from the legendary studios lives up to its reputation. We take stock of this beta and all the essential information just below.

When does the Diablo 4 beta start?

This Diablo 4 beta period is a bit special since it will be divided into two two-day sessions. The first, exclusively reserved for players who have pre-ordered the game, will be held from this Friday, March 17 on Xbox Series, PS5 and PC. The second, on the other hand, will be open to all, and will begin on March 24. To join the early access to the Diablo 4 beta, you will therefore need to have already pre-ordered the game. You will find it for sale on the site of Battle.net.

  • Closed beta (for pre-orders) : March 17 at 5 p.m. to March 19 at 8 p.m.
  • Open beta (for everyone) : March 24 at 5 p.m. to March 26 at 8 p.m.

To access the first part of the Diablo 4 beta on March 17, there are not thirty solutions, you will need to have pre-ordered the game on your platform. It will be available on PC via Battle.net, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S but also on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. You can find it at the best price just below. Of course, the game will also be available in a Digital Deluxe version and in an Ultimate version, both including early access to the game’s release next June, a season pass and various cosmetics. You can find them for sale on the official site of the game. On the other hand, everyone will be able to access the open beta of the game on March 24.

What will the content of the Diablo 4 beta be?

Diablo 4 intends to immerse us once again in a brilliant mythological fresco in the heart of Sanctuary, once again addressing the themes of the fight against good and evil now embodied by Lilith, the daughter of Mephisto. During the game’s beta, players will have access to the prologue and its entirety of Act I. Characters will be able to reach level 25 and collect in-game rewards, but will unfortunately be removed when the beta ends on March 26 at 9 p.m.

What classes will we be able to play in the Diablo 4 beta?

During this beta, players will have access to five classes that will be part of the core Diablo 4 experience. The Barbarian, the Druid, the Necromancer, the Thief and the Witch.
