HUNGER GAMES. A new “Hunger Games” movie, titled “The Ballad of the Serpent and the Songbird,” is in the works. Release date, first images, casting, here is everything we already know.

The Ballad of the Serpent and the Songbird is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins. This tells the story of a young Coriolanus Snow, played by Donald Sutherland in the first four films, 64 years before the uprising caused by Katniss. He prepares to be the mentor of the Hunger Games and to take care of the tributes of District 12… and more particularly the new heroine, Lucy Gray Baird, 16 years old. The Hunger Game 5 is scheduled for release on November 15, 2023.

In the casting, we will find actor Tom Blyth (Billy the Kid, The Gilded Age) in the role of young Coriolanus Snow, who will play opposite Rachel Zegler (West Side Story, Snow White) who plays Lucy Gray Baird. The cast is completed by well-known actors, such as Peter Dinklage (Game Of Thrones), Viola Davis (Murder), Hunter Schafer (Euphoria) or even Jason Schwartzman (On board the Darjeeling Limited).
