(Finance) – Datalogica company listed on the Euronext STAR Milan of the Italian Stock Exchange and world leader in the sectors of automatic data acquisition and industrial automation, announces 100% sale of the capital of Informatics Holdings, company active in the marketing and distribution of software products and solutions dedicated to small and medium-sized companies based in Plano (Texas).
“We are pleased to have successfully completed the disposal of Informatics, a company that joined the Group back in 2005 and has always been involved in a business distinct from that of Datalogic”, commented Valentina VoltaCEO of the Datalogic Group, adding “with the sale of Informatics, Datalogic now becomes a Group completely focused on pursuing a growth strategy in the core business of automatic identification and industrial automation and in the development of high value-added solutions in this field.”
“The proceeds deriving from the transaction – he added – allow the Group to obtain further financial resources to put at the service of growth, both organic and through M&A”.
Informatics will be sold to a company controlled by US private equity firm Renovo Capital LLC. The transfer value was
agreed upon USD 34 million. The signing and closing of the transaction took place simultaneously on March 7, 2024.
