Missing people is a non-profit organization that helps organize search efforts for missing people. In 2022, they received 542 reports of missing persons in Sweden. Blekinge is in sixth place with twelve cases.
– That’s a lot for such a small county, says Christina Hjalmarsson, who is operations manager for the organization in Blekinge.
Four people found deceased
All twelve search efforts have been completed. In four of the cases, the person was found dead.
– But it is very important that you find those who are deceased for the sake of their relatives, says Christina Hjalmarsson.
