Daredevil: Born Again Filming Completed: Punisher Appears

Shooting of the first episodes of the TV series Daredevil: Born Again, which was delayed due to strikes and rearrangements in Hollywood, has been completed.

Daredevil: Born Again Filming of the first episodes of the series has finally wrapped, after taking longer than expected due to two major strikes in Hollywood and series reshuffles. The statement made by the series’ stunt coordinator Philip Silvera on Instagram announced that the production team has come to the end of this long process and the first part of the project has been completed.

Challenges Behind Making Daredevil: Born Again

While it is estimated that Daredevil: Born Again production has only shot nine of the eighteen ordered episodes, this information has not yet been officially confirmed. Showrunner Dario Scardapane reportedly had to cancel most of 2024 in order to rewrite the second half of the script. It is speculated that Marvel Studios may change the name of the series to Daredevil: Born Again – Part One and Daredevil: Born Again – Part Two to get around contractual restrictions.

Marvel Studios executive Brad Winderbaum stated that the series has been secretive about its integration into the Sacred Timeline, and that the creation of Netflix content is an additional challenge for the studio. Winderbaum stated that despite the difficulties of this collaboration between Marvel and Netflix, over time they saw how well the stories were integrated and now they can safely say that Daredevil: Born Again is part of the timeline.

Daredevil: Born Again is expected to meet the audience on Disney + in 2025.
