This year, a resounding season of the Kokkarna kamp revenge has been offered. In the program, a number of star chefs return to the Österlen barn because they didn’t quite go all the way in their previous season.
During the journey, viewers have seen blood, sweat, tears, laughter and new friendships that will last a lifetime.
Two that really stood out during the course of the program are Daniel Couette and Daniel Müller. And on Tuesday evening it was finally time for the final meeting between the two finalists. In honor of the finale, the season’s eliminated chefs had come back to act as a jury in the infamous final duel.
And it was a real shocker.
The chefs had to prepare a three-course menu which was then to be tasted. The jury chefs did not know during the tasting who cooked what.

– The task is to compose a three-course menu. Your dishes will then be judged by the jury. Their votes combined with your medals will then decide who wins. Danyel you have seven. Daniel you have five. You can cook whatever food you want, but you must use the ingredients that are in front of you.
In front of them lay zander, summer primrose, mussels, veal, strawberries and other things. And it turned both chefs into amazing dishes.

During the jury’s assessment, many people said that they chose to vote for the dishes with flavors that went together best. And then that would also include a high acid on both the sauce and the dessert.

As for the mussels, they were the ones that were cooked the best.
– There is a lot of elegance in the flavors as well. Then when two dishes are good, you go for the one with a little more stuns in it, said Alexandra Zazzi.
The first dish was won by Danyel. Danyel also won the hot dish. And finally, he also won the dessert.

– Danyel, you are the winner of the Chefs’ Battle 2023!, told Pär Lernström.
– This has been one of the most fun things I’ve done. It really feels as good as anything. And what a bunch I got to do this with, said Danyel.
