During the autumn, Danish politicians have directed great criticism at “child soldiers” from Sweden who went to Denmark to commit crimes. The background is the theft of several hundred kilos of hash that should have belonged to Ismail Abdo and his now arrested Danish allies. The side that has been accused of being involved in the theft or at least buying the stolen drugs is the Danish street gang Loyal to Familia.
After the narcotics disappeared last summer, children and young Swedes were sent over to Denmark to carry out shootings and explosions. Several are considered to have been recruited via social media after responding to advertisements where they were promised a reward for taking on violent missions in the country. Among other things, they are considered to have been recruited by Danish gang criminals allied with Ismail Abdo.

Swedish man detained in Denmark – suspected of having coordinated several attempted murders
But now the leader of the Danish group allied with the wanted Abdo himself has been arrested in Dubai. This is confirmed by the Danish police in an email to SVT.
“The police in the United Arab Emirates have, at our request, arrested a 30-year-old man with a view to extradition to Denmark. He is suspected of having played a role in several cases of attempted murder and weapons possession linked to the current gang conflict”.
The man has been in Dubai for a long time and controlled the gang from exile, in the same way that Ismail Abdo is considered to control from Turkey where he is a citizen.
Denmark hopes the conflict will subside
Danish authorities now hope that the arrested Dane will be extradited from Dubai, but there are also concerns that he will be released.
The arrest means that at the moment there is great hope that the gang war will subside, at least from the side of the Danish-Swedish alliance. While it is deemed difficult to know what Loyal to Familia will do when the rival is locked up.
– I don’t think they are set on peace and will perhaps try to take advantage of the situation, says a source with insight into the arrest and the Danish gang environment.
