Netflix, Viaplay and Danish TV2 Play threatened to stop developing Danish films and series, as the new agreement would mean higher costs for the companies.
New negotiations are instead initiated directly between the Danish film workers and the streaming services.
“We had to realize that an agreement does not suit everyone, and therefore we go to new negotiations with each company separately,” says Benjamin Boe Rasmussen, spokesperson from Create Denmark, to Kulturnytt.
