On Wednesday, Ståhl took part in a panel discussion in Helsinki and then revealed his innermost feelings about the future. The popular athlete wants to become an actor after his discus career.
– It’s really not a joke, says Ståhl according to the Finnish newspaper Iltalehti.
– I am very interested in acting right now. Then, of course, other interesting job offers may appear when my sports career ends one day.

“I love it”

Ståhl really has a clear goal for what he wants to do in the future.
– I love to act. Both Finnish and Swedish films interest me, says the Swede with a Finnish mother.

Daniel Ståhl’s big goal for 2024 is the Summer Olympics in Paris, where he is one of the big, blue-yellow gold hopefuls. Much thanks to his heroic WC gold last summer with the competition’s best throw in the final attempt.
– It was my best throw in my career. Usually you tense your upper body in the last throw and it goes into the net or becomes 63 meters. I had a blast, admits Ståhl at the panel discussion.
