Daniel Ståhl is once again world champion in the discus.
Now he admits the truth after Carolina Klüft’s claim.

The desire for revenge was great Daniel Ståhl ahead of the discus final in the athletics world championships. After missing out on a WC medal entirely last year, he has made several changes.
Ståhl’s new plan
The 30-year-old broke up with the coach Vesteinn Hafsteinsson and moved to Malmö to find new inspiration and a different career path. At the same time as he lowered the expectations of himself.

Daniel Ståhl also admits that the new mentality has been to his advantage. But still hits back with the fact that it would be a conscious strategy.
– Well, that’s it. After 2021, before 2022, I wanted to continue chasing new golds and records and then it locked in for me in the WC in Oregon and in Munich. It only got worse.
