Daniel Ståhl has without a doubt been one of Sweden’s most successful athletes in recent years. The 29-year-old has been completely dominant in his sport, and has stood for several strong achievements.

This season, Daniel Ståhl aims for new successes, and last weekend he won the GP competition in Sollentuna after an impressive throw.

A message of strength from the Swedish star – but he has bigger goals than that and believes that he is aiming for the world championship later this summer. There, expectations will be high for the Swede, but who travels there with a rather humble, yet, goal.

“I’ll try…”

– I will try to do my best in every competition, and to get to the final at the World Cup is the goal, so we will see what happens there, he says to SVT Sport.

He won the GP competition in Sollentuna where his last throw was the longest. Then he sent the discus a full 68.97 meters.

– It was good pressure in that last one, that’s what I’m working on, to be able to throw out the technology that I have, but it will be better in the future, he says.
