Daniel Radcliffe makes movie about paralyzed stuntman

Ten years later during the filming of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1”, the penultimate of the film series, the accident occurred and Holmes suffered a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed.

Now Daniel Radcliffe has produced a documentary about his stuntman. “David Holmes: The boy who lived” is made by HBO Documentary Films in collaboration with Sky and premieres on November 18.

The “secret project” has taken four years to make, Holmes himself signs Instagramand says it was a stunt rehearsal in January 2009 that changed his life forever.

“Being a stuntman was my calling in life and ‘double’ Harry was the best job in the world. This film not only tells the story of my achievements in front of the camera, but also the challenges I face every day and my approach to life after being hit of a broken neck,” he writes.
