The 30-year-old first broke through in Idol 2010 where he ended up in eighth place. He became best known for his parodies of the Melodifestivalen, which he uploaded to his YouTube channel.
In 2023, it was clear that Norberg would host Bingolotto together with Lotta Engberg, which he has done ever since.

Daniel Norberg is chronically ill – found out during Let’s Dance
Something that not everyone knows about Norberg is that he has a chronic illness, something that came to light in connection with his participation in Let’s Dance 2018.
Everyone who competes in the program first undergoes a health examination, and it was there that Daniel Norberg found out that he had hypothyroidism.
“Recently I have been incredibly tired and slept almost every weekend and missed spending time with friends,” he wrote on his Instagram, according to Aftonbladet.

Hypothyroidism means that the thyroid gland produces too little thyroid hormone, which gives rise to, among other things, weakness, low mood and less stamina than usual.
Despite the announcement, as many already know, Norberg participated and competed in Let’s Dance – something that was not entirely easy.
“Combined with stress and performance anxiety, it was not a good mix,” he wrote at the time, adding that he has just started medication and is on the mend, according to The evening paper.
