Football EC 2024 rolls on at SVT.
But now Daniel Nannskog admits the unexpected about SVT colleague André Pops.
– It is difficult to get up to his level, says Nannskog to Expressen.
For several weeks, football lovers around Europe have been able to follow the drama at this year’s European Football Championship. At home in Sweden, SVT and TV4 have once again shared the broadcasts and showed half of the matches each.
Nannskog in the EC
At SVT it is again Daniel Nannskog who is in the TV box to give his best analyzes of the national teams. This is the 50-year-old’s ninth championship with SVT and he never gets tired.

Now he opens up about what it’s like to work at the EM studio together with his colleagues Jonas Eriksson, Therese Stromberg and André Pops.
– With the group we have, Jonas, Therese and Pops plus guests, I always step into the studio with a smile on my face. We really have fun together and I hope you see that in the box, says Nannskog in an interview with Expressen.
– We like to hang out with each other and it gets a lot of tan. But we can of course switch to seriousness when we need to. It’s a really nice group to hang out with.
The words about Pops
Alongside the long television broadcasts, Daniel Nannskog tries to get as much exercise as possible in his spare time. But during the European Football Championship it has been extremely difficult to keep up the training routines.
– No, no… I’ve been careless. I have to be honest and say that. It’s been so much now, really intense with a lot of studying when it’s not broadcast days. But when there are match-free days, I’ve actually managed to squeeze in a padel. It’s not completely dead anyway, he says in the interview.

But the SVT expert, who is in very good shape for his age, reveals that he is not at all inferior to his colleague Pops. Nannskog is now saying what Swedish TV viewers don’t know about at all.
– Haha yeah. The fight with “Popsen” for the super body… I have lost ground there. But he is always number one. It is difficult to get up to his level, he admits to the evening newspaper.
– No, no, I have to fight on.
