The national boom protection was called shortly after midnight on the night of Saturday to a villa garden in Karlskoga after a suspected dangerous object was found by a person during digging work.
The person perceived the object as “an ammunition effect” and called the police. The National Bomb Squad was contacted, who decided that the item must be removed to a safe location.
– It is an object that has been moved and rendered harmless, says Jens auf der Heide, officer on duty at the police.
Otherwise, he cannot go into any details about the object. The police have so far no criminal classification for the incident.
