(Finance) – The Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting of the d’Amico International Shipping (DIS), a company operating in maritime transport on an international scale, specialized in the tanker sector, which met today, approved the financial statements for the year 2022, in which a Net income consolidated equal to US$ 134,869,615.
The Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting also resolved to enter the Company’s 2022 statutory net result of US$ (1,215,048) under Results carried forward.
The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders also resolved the payment of a dividend gross cash amount of US$22,011,953.96 (US$18,710,160.87 net of the maximum applicable withholding tax of 15%) corresponding to US$0.0153 per share issued and outstanding net of withholding down payment and which will be paid using the distributable reserves, including the share premium reserve.
The payment of the aforementioned dividend will be made to the Shareholders on 26 April 2023 with detachment date of the relative coupon no. 5 (ex-date) on 24 April 2023 and record date on 25 April 2023 (no dividend will be paid with reference to the 18,170,238 shares repurchased by the Company, as the treasury shares have no right to a dividend.
