Damberg (S) sees an extra change budget as an alternative

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

The Center Party agreed on Monday at the last minute on a pension compromise with the government. But the compromise proposal was stopped in the finance committee. The opposition parties have a so-called false majority in the committee – which means that members of the committee do not reflect the situation in the Riksdag. The compromise will therefore not be put to the vote.

In return, the government is now preparing an extra amending budget, according to sources to SVT News. In that case, it will be presented to the Riksdag before the summer. Adding a new amending budget, where the compromise proposal on pensions is embedded, could be an alternative, says Minister of Finance Mikael Damberg (S) to SVT News.

– We will see how the Riksdag handles the proposals first, right now it has stopped and it is unfortunate, says Damberg.

Amiheh Kakabaveh can play a crucial role – again

With an extra amending budget, the decision may once again end up with the political savage Amiheh Kakabaveh – who wants to see investments in gender equality and against oppression of honor in the budget. Kakabaveh has threatened to abstain on Wednesday if the government does not respond. But Damberg (S) is not worried.

– I do not know what conversations have taken place, but I know that Amineh Kakabaveh certainly wants to raise gender equality and I would be very surprised if she would vote for a worse proposal, says Damberg (S).

For Kakabaveh’s vote to play any role in a vote on an extra spring budget, the Center Party must actively vote for the government’s budget. If C chooses instead to abstain as in the autumn, Kakabaveh’s vote does not matter. Then the counter-proposal from M, SD, KD and L. wins.

If C votes for the government’s extra budget and Kakabaveh casts his vote, it will be 174-174 in the vote, given that the political savage Roger Richthoff, formerly SD, votes with the bourgeois. Then the lottery decides which of the two budget options wins.

Magdalena Andersson angry at the opposition

At a press conference on Tuesday together with Nordic prime ministers, Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson did not want to answer questions about whether the government is preparing an extra amending budget. Andersson is annoyed that the opposition has stopped the pension compromise.

– It is disrespectful to the Riksdag, says Andersson who wants the compromise to be set against the opposition’s proposal.
