Roope Hintz’s Dallas Stars made a huge comeback in the third period. Finnish goalkeepers Ville Husso and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen celebrate the victory.
Dallas Stars Roope Hintz was the Finnish name of the hockey NHL round. The Finnish forward, who recently signed a plush, eight-year, $67 million dollar extension contract with the Stars, put up a 3+1 performance when the Stars suffered a 5-6 home loss to the Minnesota Wild after a game-winning goal contest.
The hat trick was the second of the Finnish forward’s NHL career.
Dallas made a great comeback in the third period under the leadership of Hintz, as the Stars came from a 1-5 deficit to level under the leadership of Hintz. The Finn scored the home team’s 1–1 equalizer in the second period, the 2–5 equalizer at the beginning of the third period and the 5–5 equalizer in 57.49.
In the race for the winning goal, Hintz failed in his attempt in the third round and Minnesota Frederick Gaudreau settled the fight right after the Finn.
– We knew that if we got one, we’d also get the other, Hintz described Dallas’ third period streak.
– It was great that we got one point from this match, added the Finnish star who scored his last hat trick in November 2021.
This season, Hintz, who scored 11+19=30 in 24 matches, was chosen as the second star of the match. The Finnish forward is in 14th place in the NHL points market.
For Dallas, the hard final set rise was already the second on home ice in a short period of time. A couple of weeks ago, Chicago led 4-1 in Dallas after 50 minutes of play, but the Stars eventually took the match 6-4.
Winnipeg Jets also got a taste of Finns in the night round Saku Mäenalanen, who summed up the effects of 1+1 in a 5–2 home win against the Anaheim Ducks. The hit was Mäenalanen’s fourth of the season.
