Hugues Heumen, the director of the national museum of Cameroon, was in residence at the musée du quai Branly in Paris from the beginning of June to the beginning of July to work on the Cameroonian collections of the Dakar-Djibouti mission. More than 90 years later, the musée du quai Branly has decided to re-examine the history of this mission by associating African universities and museums.
