Dahmer Maker is bringing the hit series back after 7 years

In 2017, series mogul Ryan Murphy revived the iconic feud between Hollywood legends Bette Davis and Joan Crawford as a miniseries starring Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon. The critically acclaimed series Feud earned a whopping 18 Emmy nominations and four Golden Globe nominations. Meager The sequel appears seven years later.

Few series fans believed that it was really coming, but now it’s starting Feud: Capote vs. the Swan (that’s the title of season 2) shortly before. As an anthology series, the fresh episodes are dedicated to a new feud and boast lots of stars like Naomi Watts, who was last seen in Murphy’s Netflix hit The Watcher, and Ally McBeal star Calista Flockhart. Now there’s the first trailer.

Spicy high society secrets and lots of stars: That’s what Feud season 2 is all about

After his Netflix successes Dahmer – Monster: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer and The Watcher, Ryan Murphy is now the producer behind Feud Season 2, which changes the setting from Hollywood to New York in the 70s. Here, the legendary writer and author Truman Capote (Tom Hollander from The White Lostus) befriends – and betrays – several high society women.

Alles the dirtiest secrets of the filthy rich housewives Capote uses it for his novel Answered Prayers. Thus he incurs the wrath of the New York divas he calls swans – including Babe Paley (Naomi Watts), Slim Keith (Diane Lane), CZ Guest (Chloë Sevigny), Lee Radziwill (Calista Flockhart) and Ann Woodward (Demi Moore) – on yourself.

There are also a few others in the cast familiar faces from Ryan Murphy’s series cosmos, like Jessica Lange (Feud and American Horror Story), Molly Ringwald (Dahmer) and the two American Horror Story: NYC stars Russell Tovey and Joe Mantello. The latter was also seen in Murphy’s Netflix series Hollywood and The Watcher.

The eight episodes of the sequel will be directed by Gus van Sant, Max Winkler and Jennifer Lynch, while the scripts were written by Brothers & Sisters creator Jon Robin Baitz.

When does Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans start in Germany?

In the USA, the second season of Feud starts on January 31, 2024 on the FX channel. A total of eight episodes will be published there weekly until March 13th. In Germany, Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans will be shown on Disney+. An exact start date has not yet been announced.
