Dadgostar’s dubious attempt to unify team Andersson

In her summer speech, left-wing leader Nooshi Dadgostar talked about future government options after the 2026 election. She is right to start talking about it now, because it is one of Magdalena Andersson’s biggest weaknesses. How she will succeed in getting the Left Party and the Center Party together in the same government document.

Extends a hand

When the January agreement was concluded and the Alliance was finally declared dead, the then center leader chose to demand that a “touch ban” be written into the agreement. This meant that the Left Party would be excluded from all influence. Annie Lööf called both the Sweden Democrats and the Left Party “fringe parties”, which she protected like the plague.

The left party perceived the touching ban as offensive. But today, Nooshi Dadgostar apparently chose to swallow his pride and extended a hand to the Center Party. The conflict between the Left Party and the Center Party must be resolved by the 2026 election, otherwise Lag Andersson risks being without government power.

Difficult to get the team together

Half of the term has almost passed, and how Magdalena Andersson will manage to get her team together is still shrouded in obscurity. The other day, center leader Muharrem Demirok gave his speech on the Almedal stage. He spoke warmly about tax cuts and improving the conditions for companies. The reason is, of course, that the Center Party is a bourgeois liberal party. Tax cuts are part of their DNA.

Current center leader Muharrem Demirok still dreams of the Alliance being resurrected. When he was forced to choose a candidate for prime minister, it was Magdalena Andersson after much hesitation.

Huge difference between C and V

The differences between the Center Party and the Left Party are enormous. They are each other’s ideological opposites. The Left Party is a socialist party that has class struggle in its heritage. They see high taxes as an important tool to equalize what they believe are economic injustices. They call the free schools a “school failure”. The Center Party is a bourgeois liberal party that wants low taxes, and believes in free schools and the labor line.

But it is therefore necessary for both parties to come to an agreement. Starting to talk about it is a first step.

Today, Nooshi Dadgostar took the first tentative attempts. However, she began the day by demanding that a tax cut on investment savings accounts, ISK, should not be implemented. It cannot have escaped the left-wing leader that the Center Party has for several years demanded that the same set be removed.

Possibly Nooshi Dadgostar, if the hand-out is serious,
showed any kind of willingness to compromise. The conflict with the Center Party decreased
hardly with today’s outcome.
