In November 2021, a 15-year-old boy shot dead four schoolmates in Michigan, USA. Now his father is sentenced for causing the death of another.
The 47-year-old father bought the gun used in the shooting four days before the crime. The boy’s mother, who took her son on shooting practice with the weapon, has also previously been declared guilty.
The now 17-year-old son has confessed to the murders and has been sentenced to life imprisonment for murder and terrorism. The parents risk long prison terms.
