Dacia Spring Extreme, which was exhibited for the first time at the Brussels Motor Show, heralds a new engine beyond a package.
Turkey sales are expected to start this year for Spring, which is Dacia’s first electric car. The model, which has been on the European market for a while, is also the most accessible name in its segment in terms of price. The model, which is also important for the future of Dacia, gets a new equipment called Extreme with the Brussels Motor Show. With the Dacia Spring Extreme, an important development for the family is also seen on the engine side.

With the new equipment, Copper Brown is used on the car’s roof bars, side mirrors, wheel hubs, the Dacia logo on the trunk lid and the decorative parts on the vehicle’s fog lights. Around the topographical designs on the front doors and under-door trims, between the doors and the front fenders, is a nod to Duster’s distinctive snorkeling gear. In the interior design of the vehicle, topographic patterns appear on the door sills and front rubber mats, while there are Copper Brown decors on the ventilation grilles and navigation screen frame, except for certain parts of the front door panels.

Dacia is also making the world premiere of the all-new “ELECTRIC 65” engine with its new Spring Extreme equipment. Only available with Spring Extreme, the engine is combined with a new gearbox. In the new combination, which is stated to provide more intense energy recovery for a longer range, acceleration performance has also improved. With this engine that produces 65 horsepower, Spring Extreme can reach a range of 220 km in the WLTP average cycle and 305 km in the WLTP city cycle. Let us remind you that the engine in the other models of the family produces 45 PS power, 125 Nm torque and has a maximum speed limit of 125 km / h with this engine.

In the model, where a 26.8 kWh battery comes as standard, users can fill this battery in approximately 14 hours over a 220V source. The package can be completely filled in about 5 hours via the 7.4 kW Wallbox source. The fastest charging source supported by the vehicle is 30 kW. In this scenario, full filling can be achieved in approximately 1.5 hours. Dacia Spring, which has become one of the leaders of the electric vehicle market with more than 100 thousand orders in less than 2 years in the countries where it is sold, is planned to meet with users in Turkey in the third quarter of 2023. Dacia Spring is offered for sale in France in two different versions, with prices ranging between 20,800 euros and 22,100 euros. The Extreme version, on the other hand, will enter the lists at 22,300 euros.
