WOERDEN – Cyclist Ellen van Dijk has won the first stage of the Fryslân Tour, formerly the Healthy Aging Tour. The reigning world time trial champion was the best in the individual time trial over 14.4 kilometers with start and finish in Surhuisterveen. De Woerdense was 7 seconds ahead of compatriot Riejanne Markus in the time trial. European time trial champion Marlen Reusser from Switzerland was third at 25 seconds.
